Abstract

Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in Jawa Timur in Quarter IV - 2015 was recorded at 102.12 slowed down compared to the third quarter - 2015 reach 115.98. Slowing ITK is very reasonable, because of seasonal factors that occur in the fourth quarter - 2015 is the feast of Christmas, school holidays and the New Year effect is not as big as that occurred in the third quarter - 2015 (Fasting Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha).

ITK Jawa Timur Quarter - 2016 is estimated at 108.61 higher than the fourth quarter - 2015. Allegedly, falling back fuel prices in January 2016 had a positive impact on the level of consumer optimism in Jawa Timur.
