In order to support the planning, implementation and evaluation process of development results so that they can run as expected, credible and up-to-date data is needed. The Central Statistics Agency as the only government institution is tasked with providing basic statistical data as input in measuring predetermined targets. One of the data needed is the People's Welfare Statistics. The statistics used to display people's welfare are sourced from the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which is a household-based survey. The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the surveys carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Situbondo Regency routinely every year, including data on the socio-economic sector of the community as well as data on people's welfare. Information collected in Susenas includes individual and household information. The information collected includes aspects of population, health, education, employment, fertility and family planning, housing and household consumption, and household socio-economic conditions.
