Abstract

Jawa TImur economy in 2015 as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached Rp 1689.88 trillion,while GDP at constant prices reached Rp 1331.42 trillion.

Jawa Timur economy in 2015 compared to 2014 grew by 5.44 percent, slower than the same period the previous year by5.86 percent. On the production side, all categories experienced positive growth, except for Electricity and Gas Supplycontraction of 3.00 percent. The highest growth occurred in Mining and Quarrying by 7.92 percent; followed Provision ofAccommodation and Eat Drink at 7.91 persen.Dari expenditure, the highest growth achieved by the Net Inter-regionalexports amounted to 13.39 percent.
