Abstract

Jawa Timur economy first quarter of 2016 as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached Rp444.31 trillion, while GDP at constant prices reached Rp 337.56 trillion.

Jawa Timur economy first quarter of 2016 when compared to the first quarter of 2015 (y-on-y) grew by 5.34 percent fasterwhen compared to the same period the previous year by 5.05 percent. On the production side, all the positive growthbusiness field. The highest growth occurred in the business field Services Provision of Accommodation and Food and Beverage at 10.16 percent. While the smallest occurred in the business field Category Procurement of Electricity, Gas and Iceproduction, which grew by 0.40 percent. On the expenditure side the highest growth achieved by the Foreign ExportComponent of 14.81 percent, while the lowest Overseas Import Component (-1.38 percent).
