Abstract

Exchange Rate Fishermen (NTN) of Jawa Timur in May 2016 rose by 1.40 percent from 109.19 in April 2016 became 110.72in May 2016. The increase is due to NTN index of prices received by fishermen increased by 1.20 percent while the index of prices paid fishermen decreased by 0.20 percent.

Ten major commodities that experienced the greatest increase in the prices received index fishermen are kuniran fish, flying fish, crab, fish swanggi, fish oil sardine, anchovy, squid, tuna, fish Kapasan and sea crabs. While eight major commodities and decreasing prices received index fishermen are shrimp, grouper, kurisi fish, swordfish, catfish, carp, fish-knivesmachetes, and fish japuh.
